I am K. Srinivasan PhD HSS 1991-97. I was residing at Hall 5 Room No A 209. I was a coordinator Centre for Distribution of Essential Commodities (CDEC) at Hall V, Coordinator of PG Counselling Service(1992), Captain IITK Basket Ball team for a year and Convener Students' Senate(for few months). My interests are in the field social networks. I was also actively involved in social service for four years. I am presently involved in Social Research. My research studies include family planning seeking behaviour of tribal population of Rajasthan, health seeking behaviour in Tamil Nadu, technology evaluation in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu and other Training Assessment studies. I have also worked in HIV /AIDS research. Few interventions I have done include counselling, referrals, and other activities. My first full time teaching started at Indian Institute of Rural Management [1], Jaipur. I started as a Systems specilised teacher and taught Rural Management, NGO Management, Rural Communication and so on. Later moved to IIITM-K teaching IT Management.
I am married and have a daughter. We are presently in Trivandrum since 2001. Kerala is a beautiful place. Onam is a festival one would like to enjoy.
